Luckily with the ongoing situation across the NE US, the weather here has been nearly perfect.

No really chance in the ongoing dry cool weather although surface winds have becoming more SE to SSE and this is allowing a slight increase in moisture and cloud cover along with humidity values. Even a few showers offshore this morning, but would not expect much if any to make it inland.

Forecast for activities this evening will include mostly clear skies with 600pm temperatures in the mid 70’s falling to the upper 60’s by 900pm. Sunset is around 635pm.

NE US will be able to say a final goodbye to Sandy by the end of the week as the large scale low drifts into Canada and the blocking which has been in place and partly responsible for the entire event begins to break down. This will allow the next Pacific storm system to enter the west coast and move into the plains by the weekend. Moisture will increase and models show a slight to moderate chance of rainfall on Sunday-Sunday night as the next cold front crosses the area. Not much cold air behind this front compared to the last so no real big cool down.

Note: Clocks “fall” back this weekend! Sunset Sunday will be around 540pm.
I say good riddance to Sandy and never come back.
