It looks like we may struggle to reach 60 here in NW Harris County. Clouds are hanging tough and it certainly is chili eating weather out there.

10:15 and I have hit 49 degrees. Skies have cleared out. Wonder how low the temps will get tonight? Loving this touch of winter.

Now all eyes turn to next week and see if we can get another front down here and keep this cool/cold streak going....I hope it happens.

41F this morning....so far. Clear skies and calm winds did the trick. For those who do not know, a late October snow storm is beginning from the Mid Atlantic to Southern New. England corridor today and tonight. It's mighty early in the year to be having a Noreaster Snow Storm... ;)

I had 43 here on the east side of town - between baytown and mont belvieu.

Watching the snowstorm unfold across the Northeast!

It does snow in October in New York, but rarely. The last time they had measurable snowfall in October was in 1952. The most snowfall in October occurred in 1925.

Managed a low of 42F this morning in NW Harris County. I had to turn the heater on yesterday morning for the first time. A sure sign that lower electric bills are ahead...
