After listening to David Paul earlier it sounds like south and east of 59 will be a more important boundary than south of I-10 in terms of greatest snow amounts in the Houston area.

Adding to the "dripping faucets" discussion: We are on a water well in rural Walker County. I have always been told that we CANNOT have any type of drips/leaks....that it will burn up the pump on the well. So, my plan is to: of course, wrap all outdoor exposed pipes/faucets; heat lamp on the well pipes; open all cabinet/closet doors to any outside plumbing walls; run water through all indoor faucets, every couple of hours, for the duration of the event. Wishing everyone luck in keeping these pipes from any damage! Keep Warm!

So what did they tell people to do?

Wrap the pipes and don't drip them.

Last report from David Paul on tv tonight noted that several of the models show 3-5 inches of snow for us on Monday, and said the second system should just be snow, and maybe several more inches of it. To think that we could have half a foot or more of snow on the ground...

With the wind and the way the GFS is set up, we legitimately could hit Blizzard status between 6-10 am Monday.

I’ve been in a 20-1 band in the mountains and in grad school in Ohio. It was wild.

Hoping the depth will bring more snow than freezing rain along the coastal counties. The last thing I want is an ice storm and no power but will enjoy the best I can.
More like February 1895 and February 1899. They are in a class of their own.

Just did a check of Dark Skies and it has it down to 53% in Spring Sunday and Monday, but it says 3 to 7 inches of snow on Monday???
