Sambucol highs in the upper 40’s to 50’s, that is one of the best GFS runs i have seen in a long time, subtropical jet is active as rounds of arctic air plunge south, if this pattern was happening in december or january, we could be talking about wintry precipitation as well, but ill take this much colder pattern thats coming!

What time frame are we looking at?
That sounds fantastic! I’ll take it!Stratton20 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 11:56 am Sambucol highs in the upper 40’s to 50’s, that is one of the best GFS runs i have seen in a long time, subtropical jet is active as rounds of arctic air plunge south, if this pattern was happening in december or january, we could be talking about wintry precipitation as well, but ill take this much colder pattern thats coming!

brazoriatx it looks like this upcoming pattern change could be around for a while, id say after the 10th/11th through at least the 21st could be colder than normal
Getting some really good rain over here right now. Definitely wasn’t expecting this today.
Picked up .9” here.

Nothing here, besides this pattern change coming bringing much colder weather to texas , the sub tropical jet looks to be active, so we might have some more opportunities for rain in the days ahead

The soi index is running a negative streak so that is a positive for rain in the future!
The 0z GFS is just slightly cold lol
SOI and EPO are trending in the right direction if you want cold and wet. Major pattern change looks increasingly likely.

12z GFS is amazing, round after round of shots of arctic air spilling south with the sub tropical jet being really active, I can’t completely rule out some wintry precip for some parts of texas, this is an incredible pattern that we are headed towards, just wish it was december or january and we could be talking about winter storm potential lol
