Rain chances have been lowered for the next several days. NWS had me at 60% almost every day, now down to 30-40%

Rightfully so too. Models have backed off widespread rains for sure. There will still be showers around, not quite like today though.

The sun has been out all day here except for about 45 min or so around 4ish when a storm popped up and skirted west of me. My garden has been so water logged, my squash couldn’t handle it. I’ve had over 20” of rain IMBY since the last week of April. At least it didn’t all come in 2-3 days.

It’d be nice to dry out some, but I don’t want it to dry out and not rain for two months either.

Can somebody answer why accuweather meteorologists are saying they might have to monitor an area just off the Texas coast for tropical development? This is separate from what may occur down in the Bay of Campeche late next week. I dont know what they are seeing?

Sounds good to me. It’d be nice to actually walk in my backyard again without needing rubber boots.

Yep. That's why I'll take more rain anyway I can get it. Don't want soaring temps and no rain.

Yep rain chances have all but gone away for now. Hope it isn’t the end of rain until September lol

Well depending on what happens in the gulf of mexico by this weekend, they easily could go way up

This last system was definitely a bust.

The Euro 12z ensembles are still favoring the western Gulf.
