Ive noticed that also on the HRRR... im getting concerned that there could be another training feeder band tonight/tomorrow but this time it could be located further inland than the one that setup along the coast last night.

Watching closely new development in Waller County. I also see some potential development over Western Montgomery County as another band of showers pinwheel to the S.

Storms have really taken off just to the South of me towards Katy. Looks like It may merge in with that nasty band Jeff is talking about.

Nice tornado hit between Crosby and Mont Belvieu
Picked up 1”. I’m satisfied now.

The mesoscale precip discussion mentions the black circled area above in unome post. That could be the deluge for the Harris county area for the night along with the current area now in the south part.

Looks like Beaumont is about to get hammered AGAIN with a nasty training band. Part of that one extending to you guys in Houston. Have a feeling this may be “the one” that sets up over hou and Bmt overnight.

Yes! Yes! I am so glad you got some much-needed rain!
I'm just catching-up again and noticed that WPC discussion. I'm inside that dreaded "black circle." Looking at the radar, seems like that band is slowly starting to set up. Concerning.
Things could get hairy tonight.
For those East of Houston, it certainly looks like it will be. So far for the ones in Ft Bend and westward it looks like it’s all but done. Barely got 1.5” which I’m grateful for, but would have like 4-5”!
Those on the east side and towards the golden triangle, stay safe tonight and tomorrow!

A HIGH risk is in effect in our Day 1 Excessive Rainfall Outlook. More details: http://go.usa.gov/cu3Dw
The two bands combined into one big training band over Beaumont and not moving. Just went outside to inspect and we are all flooded in our neighborhood. If large trucks drive, it will push water to peoples garages and porches. This is gonna be a long long long night...
