February Weather Discussion. Wild Winter Storms?

Sleet on 290 between Skinner and Fry about 20 minutes ago. Probaby all that we will see.

You'll see big wet flakes quite a bit this evening. Not sure it will stick though... maybe to grass and cars.

According that Radar Areas near College Station to the North are getting SLAMMED with Sleet!

I have a report from a student at A&M of heavy sleet.

Really? I was just outside on campus and it was just rain.

The temp and dew point is dropping up here as well. Temp down from 43 to 39.7. DP was 39, now 36.

It really doesn't seem like the moisture will reach us here in the HGX area.

Is this an optical illusion with these systems or are we going to bust?

I have a question. Is all the moisture that is currently up to the north slowly advancing to the southeast? Looks like the storms are moving east and are way to the north. I have been watching weather all of my life but am constantly learning. Thanks to all of you that make this a learning experience

That's what it looks like to me. Like the greatest lift is to the North/North East and arching around us. Are we unders some dome of High Pressure? LOL

Keep an eye to our W. Radar trends suggests that moisture is filling in rather nicely SW of San Antonio. The entire system is moving ESE from far W TX...
