Moisture won’t be a problem, I’m just worried about the warm nose not going away.
All that blue (snow) is moving in our direction. Looks pretty heavy if you ask me.

It’s actually a paid app (Radar Scope) and one of the better radars available.
Sleeting heavy in Beaumont and snow falling. Have a video put looks like I cant post a video here. But it has begun and we only go down hill from here...stay safe. Stay warm. Ill be up all night.

It's how it is for every storm lol. People get on and call bust before it even gets started. The 1-3 inches of snow across most of the region still looks likely. Further southwest you go chances do go down but I suspect at least some snow for them too.

Now down to 23 here. It's gonna have to change to all snow overnight at this rate.
I sincerely apologize for asking.
I was hearing 5 to 9 inches and it suddenly went from 1 to 3 on multiple platforms with Travis Herzog saying it was going to glance Northwest. I apologize for asking for ya’ll’s opinion and certainly won’t do it again.

Looks like heavy snow is filling in to the Southwest of the main area of heavy snow, thats a good sign
Precipitation looks to be developing near Victoria and should meet up with the precipitation coming in from the west.

This isn't an attack on you Ace or anyone in particular. It's just a general observation on what happens during every system especially winter systems. I think 1-3 inches widespread has always been the forecast for most across Houston with higher totals likely to the north. Could some localized areas see 5 to 9? Sure.

Snowing in SW Houston by Galleria.
Radar is filling in fast. Right on schedule.
I don't think anything was directed at you specifically. I hear what you are saying though. It does seem like the change over to snow is painfully slow. If we are going to get those totals we've been seeing on the models, we aren't going to have long to do it.Ace wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 12:16 am I sincerely apologize for asking.

Don't ever be afraid to ask questions. I apologize if I came off as not promoting that type of atmosphere here that was not my intent. Trust me I will be just as disappointed as anyone else here if we don't see any snow.

Well folks, I’m about to layer up and head outside! It’s about to be a blizzard here and temps are plummeting. Almost down into the teens here now and wind chills are about 5 to 10 degrees! The snow is right on my doorstep and I’ve been waiting my whole life for this moment! We’ve had snow here before but nothing like this! This will be near blizzard conditions!

Love seeing those plumes coming in from the Gulf to Corpus and merging with the system out in San Antonio as it fills in the radar moving ever closer in our direction. It’s coming folks.
