October 2020
18 mph NE G 25mph. Cloudy, no rain IMBY
Very breezy and gusty here. I’ve had some gusts in the 40mph range. The power flickered earlier enough to re-boot everything. The edge of that rain just wants to keep flirting with me. I can literally see the edge of the rain shield looking off to the east.
Jeff Linder just said northern eyewall going to go over Lake Charles on his twitter page
Northern eyewall is coming ashore just east of Cameron.
Thanks guys! I’m no expert! I’m just over it. I live close to the coast. I’m tired of chewing Motrin!
there saying the eyewall just hit and the winds are still rocking in santa fe

Now its getting scary here in Beaumont. Power is out. Trees are down. Transformers blowing all around. We are now clocking about 60 sustained with numerous gusts to 70 mph. So far over 5” of wind driven rain. Starting to get nervous now. Ill try to get a few pictures..Stay safe everyone. Few more hours of this in the Triangle.

Looks like the ECMWF (Euro) model data will be a free for all model now. Too bad it has had some rough days lately this season!

Stay safe Mike! Unfortunately, y'all got it a little worse than anticipated. Looks like 1-2 more hours and you should be in good shape.djmike wrote: ↑Fri Oct 09, 2020 4:38 pm Now its getting scary here in Beaumont. Power is out. Trees are down. Delta is definitely over performing in Beaumont!
Should be winding down soon here in Orange. We've had some pretty good winds lately. Luckily we still have power. Lights have flickered a few times. Lots of people here have lost power though. Hoping the worst is over.
Delta gettin Don’d
MIKE! You will be OK! Were all tired and were all over it!
