Surprised no one mentioned TS Claudette 1979. Remember 42 inches of rainfall at Alvin for 24 hours.

Is Hanna ever going to fill in on the NE quadrant?

Looks like it is making the turn W to possibly WSW on satellite. Then again my eyes are crossed looking at it the past two days so I could be wrong.

Question. If Hanna makes it to a hurricane as many models are hinting at before landfall, how will that affect us in Setx? Higher chance for rain and wind?

It’s getting pretty breezy up here now. Some decent gusts with the outflow that pushed out of that feeder band. Still not a drop of rain here though.
I know its a 240 hr forecast. But the past few Euro runs and the 12z Euro ensemble from a bit a go is a bit eye brow raising.
Wow. Squalls dumping quick heavy rains fast then move along here in beaumont. Last squall had a hefty wind gust with it too at 39 mph. Dogs ran inside like the world was ending. Lol

Yeah we need to watch that one. I would like some rain but don’t need a major hurricane in the Gulf. Seems like we go from one extreme to the other.
Honestly I’ve had my eye on this one ever since it was in the central part of Africa. This is the one I’ve feared the most. Could be big trouble for someone down the road and what makes it worse is there’s even more waves lining up across Africa along the ITCZ behind this one.
