The reason I ask, it looks like it is just hanging out over Ft Bend County around Fulsher and Richmond area with no real movement as the storms are constantly being feed with moisture from the south.
Edit: That radar has issues now as well.

Yeah, I was afraid of this. The Golf is feeding in and amplifying the firehose. Conjoining over Sugarland.

Temperatures are in the 90s and dewpoints are still around 80 to the southwest where those streamer clouds are coming in from. SPC analysis has CAPE around 5000 in that area. Still some moist unstable air being advected into this mess.

It's feeding back on instability all the way to Midland, converging with instability all the way to the Valley.

Off and on heavy showers in W League City but the very heavy rain is approaching. I made home from downtown Houston this morning so I would not be stuck.

Made it home from the office, and it has been raining hard here in Cypress ever since . CFISD & other school releases are likely going to be an issue here after while if it keeps up. Have picked up almost 2" over the last hour or so.

Seems like activity is backbuilding on the north side. Does no good if one line moves out if another one takes its place!
