Here’s to a cold March through May! I’d love to see some 40s and 50s in May like we did in 2014.

Currently watching Live PD on A&E right now and they are showing a live major 5+ car crash on an interstate overpass in Williamson County, TX which is one county north of Travis, Co (where Austin is).
Think I heard seven ambulances are on scene and they had to shut the interstate down on both sides because there were reports of pedestrians going over the bridges down 40ft all because of icy conditions there.

Hope the reports are wrong. Sad either way... ice is dangerous.

-------
Edit to add - officers on scene said everyone had been accounted for in the wrecks so they don't believe anyone had fallen off overpass. Don't think they ever said which interstate it was. But according to Google maps, it looks like either Interstate 14 near Killeen or Hwy 195 in Florence.

Unfortunately there were more accidents this morning in Williamson County on some major roadways as a result of icy patches.

Expect a warm evening into tomorrow with a chance of fog in the morning before another cold front moves through overnight Monday. A few scattered showers could be possible but temperatures will return closer to normal for the middle part of the week. Towards the end of the week return flow is expected and the jury is still out on how strong of a front we get on Friday. Looks like it could be one of those periods where we continually battle between cold and warm around here.

I am looking forward to seeing some sunshine this week. I does appear that after today we dry out into next weekend. There are 'hints' of another strong front early next week that may usher in a chilly unsettled pattern mid next week.

Praying for a bit more drying. Maybe we can get the rest of the yard mowed then. Tried yesterday, and could only mow about half due to the water. We planted the mower twice. The second time required us to push/pull it out of the holes it dug spinning the wheels.
