Thanks, fellows.. :)

Are you on the Black Berry I take it?

iPhone 3GS, to be precise..

Something up with cell phones and this site?
Actually this is the first report we've heard of this. Most reports have been that it is very cell phone apps friendly. What browers are you using? Perhaps we can take these issues here to discuss and share our thoughts on a solution...

Please don't keep ignoring me. I thought this was a friendly forum. I just wanted to know if Brazos County (Bryan to be exact) might get some snow to play in.

I am not a pro met. It could be possible that Brazos County could see snow.

Ptyarmin and Katdaddy

Thank you for at least responding. I know they have the graphic up for 100% tonight but that seems to be mainly for the northwestern counites, of which Brazos abuts. I have lived here my whole life and have only seen measurable snow 3 times that I can remember with the December 2008 being the neatest because my son got to see snow for the first time.

Is is possible that cooling will take place this afternoon and let it start early ?

Again, thanks for your responses.

It has been raining here, most of the morning...(nothing new, these days)...and it seems to be getting colder. I know we might have a chance at a little snow. But, with everything everything so water-logged I don't see how any precip has a chance of accumulating. My poor little grandson has been trying to use an old knee board to play in the snow, all winter. Bless his heart...I guess he'll have to wait just a little longer! haha

No sleet or snow mixed in with the cold rain here in Baytown either. I still think that southeast Texas could feasibly get some sleet or snow mixed in with rain this evening/tonight/tomorrow morning before all of the precipitation moves out around noon tomorrow. What do the rest of you think?

Texas City: 45 degrees on the north side of my house right now and a constant steady rain since 6:00 a.m. I don't expect ice of any kind today or tonite, and will pray that it stays that way. Summer cannot come soon enough for me.

Probably not. GFS forecast soundings (which are doing pretty good with this event) say that you'll have a deep layer of above-freezing air overhead this afternoon/evening. But after midnight, the upper low passes and the air cools below freezing aloft. Problem is, the precip will end shortly after the air cools down aloft. So it's cold rain this afternoon/evening. Probably some sleet mixed in late evening into the early morning hours, and a fair shot of seeing some snowflakes before the precip ends prior to sunrise tomorrow. But I don't think you'll have enough to "play in".

That "100% chance of snow/sleet" on that web page really was meant to say 100% chance of rain, possibly mixed with sleet/snow tonight.

New European run has cross-Polar flow developing in 8 days with a 1055+MB high coming across the Pole and south through Canada by 10 days. Ready to book that flight to Tahiti with me?

Vicarious happiness. Nothing good about rain and low 40s.
Where is the city of Bedford, Ed Mahmoud? Near Austin, College Station, Waco?

I just want to see and hear it. That, my friend, would make me happy and be adequate for me.
