Let's see. The last time we had a Modoki El Nino was 2009-2010. The previous winter of 2008-2009 was a weak La Nina. Last winter was also a weak La Nina and was back to back with 2016-2017, like 2007-2008. Winter of 2009-2010 is one of the coldest winter.
