Legitimate snowfall in Kingwood. Heavy graupel that suddenly turned into big flakes. Been going strong for at least 20 minutes now.

Congrats. We caught some light graupel on the way to the Aggie game, where they were chomped by the Gators. That was about it.

Been snowing heavily the past 20 min here in Beaumont. Roofs are now turnin white and anything elevated is covered in a nice powder. This keeps up we may have another white morning like we did early December.

Looks like all is done across much of Harris county. Dry air will continue to filter southward. Looks like the clearing line is located around Waco based on SIR and obs. Going to be hard to get temps in the lower 20s unless we clear out relatively soon.

Still snowing strong in Beaumont. Large flakes! Roofs, cars and anything elevated are covered in white. Accumulating on grass and its beautiful! Looks to be another white beautiful morning coming! Just amazed at how much we're getting and how large the flakes are. I dont think anyone expected this. Not even our local mets! A flurry here and there but this this whiteout? No. Just awesome and beautiful!

I didn't expect what I got. Heck, on Pelican Island I believe it snowed more than where I reside. That's a win to me because honestly I was hoping to see some snow (I did) but not enough to mess up the roads on my way home. With that said I'm extremely ready for Spring and warmth. The older I get the less I like cold weather, unless you see the unexpected frozen precipitation.
