You're the same one that said it wouldn't snow earlier in December

Not really. If I see an ice pellet or even a snowflake I'll be satisfied. Believe me the last thing I want is a full blown event before midnight and before I get off duty and have to drive over the Galveston Causeway.

Yup, looks like the main event will happen there unless something starts to develop here in the next few hours.

Ahh, I see that. These winter weather events, Or as Dan would say with a gleam in his eye (fly in the ointment) are so hard to predict.

The HRRR is still consistent on the radar filling in over the next couple of hours, we will see...

I'm over here just west of New Orleans watching this develop. How much of this is actually reaching the ground? My dew point has come up to 23, so the air here is not nearly as dry as yesterday or even earlier today.

From my somewhat educated and experienced eye, I believe it's happening.

I'm over in Imperial Oaks. It was really light. I'm getting a few more flurries again here, heavier than before.

Not seeing too many reports of any precip making it to the ground over East Texas. METARs still don't show much. Seems to be progressing westward/southwest slowly though

Nice sleet shower by 45/Cypresswood. Whitening tops of cars a bit!

Looks like it is slowly back-building westward
