Shouldn't be too long.
Hope so, I have to get to bed, but wanted to see some snow beforehand. Besides, I probably couldn't fall asleep knowing it may be snowing outside. I will pay tomorrow and the coffee will be flowing.

Not bad, considering. The Meso band cranked up about 35 miles north of predicted. Night's not over yet. Most of the HGX area turned to snow.

Snowing in Beaumont! Majority sprinkles but certainly can tell the big flakes when the winds die down for a sec. Expect it to change over to flurries soon. Have a feeling all of us in Setx might be in for more than we expected! Finally after two winters, we have an actual cold one this year with snow!

Snow bands extend from Mexico into Laredo and near McAllen.

Interesting that a dry slot extends all the way down the 59 corridor from Houston to Corpus. Any ideas on why is causing such a long and consistent dry slot?

Jeff states convective feature developing near Brownsville may be a Coastal trough developing. Rain to snow now underway in Corpus. That dryslot may quickly fill in if in fact a Coastal is forming along the Coast inS Texas.

Down to 32F now in NW Harris County. Snow is sticking to everything but the roads. All rooftops, grassy surfaces and cars covered with about an inch of snow that continues to fall.

How much longer do we expect this snow to last? I have to get some sleep, but I don’t want to miss it! I’m between Cypress and Katy off of Fry Rd.

Looks like it's filling in and intensifying to our southwest.

Been snowing pretty intense for the last hour or so near 528 and I45. Snow covering the grass, roof tops, and trees.
