Looks like it. That's not necessarily a bad thing after last week's deluge.

We left the race car at home today, choosing to NOT run in the local autocross event in Hitchcock. Looks like the event will be high and dry. :-/

As my wife said, though, if we had gone, we'd be wading home.

The sun is starting to show here in Stafford, TX. We had a few showers very early this morning, than a few more about a half hour ago. Seems like the most activity will be well north of here.

Nicely defined boundary pushing out ahead of the main line. I imagine it will start firing off more soon.

We had some rain early this morning, than a brief sprinkle early this afternoon. Those to the North of us got hammered this morning and looks like to the East is getting it now. Hit and miss, depending on where you live. I would rather be weather aware, than not. It's not an exact science.

Seeing some development along the immediate coast and also around Victoria and will be watching the trend over the next several hours. The Tornado Watch was previously cancelled for the Houston area. Many thoughts to our friends in LA dealing with a dangerous and life threatening event.
