KHOU Meteorologist Mario Gomez Retires

Mario Gomez arrived in Houston in 1984 and soon began working at KHOU as an On Air Meteorologist. Mario preceded the arrival of Dr. Neil Frank in 1987 making Mario Gomez the longest serving On Camera Meteorologist in the Houston Market. Mario's experience and forecasting abilities are second to none and his calming presence will be missed. It has been my honor to personally work with Mario, both privately and professionally over the years. Please join me in congratulating Mario in his Retirement. Well done my friend. We wish you and your family all the best!
