Last night NWS had 60% precip chances....now down to only 30%. Harris county down to winter storm advisory.
I'm still above freezing...doubt we'll see anything frozen.
Imagine all the, kids waking up expecting to see 3 inches of snow....
This is a bust for Harris county/the city of Houston. Of course it's not a bust for areas north where the precip is at.

Law enforcement in the Austin area are starting to shut down elevated roadways and bridges. So far the hardest hit area is north/northwest Austin. Things deteriorating here quickly.

Temperatures in the Richmond area appear to be 38-39 deg. Sugar Land airport is holding steady at 39. Do you actually see ice on surfaces there?cperk wrote:Appear to be getting a little freezing rain in Richmond.

One last report from your neighbors to the west ... freezing rain continues in Austin and conditions continue to worsen. The upper deck of I-35 has been shut down as have numerous elevated roadways and bridges. Some icing now being reported even on roads. Be safe SE Texas!
Still nothing here. We'll probably reach freezing soon....but where's our moisture?
