We know some are having issues logging in and getting an error message saying you have exceeded your login attempts. Enter you login information and password as usual and type TEXAS WEATHER backwards in ALL CAPS...REHTAEW SAXET. Select the Keep Me logged in option at the bottom of the login page and you will have no further issues.

Thanks for the info. I was registered, but when I went to have them send me the password, it said I wasn't. So I thought a long time had passed I was inactive - tried to register with my personal email and got message saying it was already in use, yet they couldn't find me to r/s the password. Eventually had to work email to register again.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I get the message that I've exceeded the log in attempts every time. Just FYI. I'll continue to log in this way because it's worth it! Thanks for all you do!

I had just about given up! The instructions for spelling Texas Weather backwards threw me off (I was spelling it backwards in the sequence of SAXET REHTEAW, not REHTEAW SAXET...

I understand the aggravation and trust me, so do the IT folks at KHOU because they hear from ME often about this. Doug DeLony is working almost daily behind the scenes on our dedicated server and the platform to make any 'fixes' and adjustments to make our Weather Forum more functional and secure. Two important things to remember...1)Select the Keep Me Logged In option and 2)...spell REHTAEW SAXET in all CAPITAL LETTERS when the error message happens. Doug will continue to make 'tweeks ' in the days ahead and KHOU has expressed to me that our Weather Forum is a very high priority as they fully understand the importance of our Weather Community and what role we play in providing information to our Region. After over a decade of the KHOU Weather Forum, we are now one of the oldest and most respected 'go to' Weather Boards for good and factual information. Our reach now spans well beyond Houston and Texas as our weather community is followed by major media on a National level as well as many Professional Forecasters and various industry interests that looks to us for advance information before events become Weather Headlines. We as a weather community can be very proud of the respect and the level of trust that many far and wide have grown to look to the KHOU Weather Board and our social media feeds via Facebook and Twitter as we have expanded our reach and efforts to provide Weather information that can be trusted. Kudos gang. Dan would be so proud of ALL of us.

This board is AWESOME! Thanks for all the behind the scenes work. You're right, Dan would be very pleased.
