Thank god. That man has been driving me nuts on Twitter. Not bashing him by any means, because he is a good meteorologist. He is just obviously on the 'bias' side of things and has not done well at all with the forecast of Isaac. Hope he can get some much needed rest these next few days.

Thanks
As NWS Houston/Galveston mentions, there very well could be...

THERE COULD BE SOME SIGNIFICANT
CHANGES IN THE FORECAST PACKAGE THIS AFTN IF THE 12Z GFS SUPPORTS
THE THE 12Z NAM.
Thanks SRAIN!

Definitely seeing a West, maybe a slight wnw motion, but more of a due west in this radar image. Put a ruler up to the screen from where the center was in a horizontal direction. Moving right along my ruler.

According to the NHC, yes. TWC has even mentioned a few times in the past hour this has been taking a west turn in the latest frames.

Worrisome to see a rather interesting short wave (upper air disturbance) dropping SE from the Upper Mid West. It appears the ridging may be stronger N of Isaac and could have an affect on the future steering of which way the cyclone may move over the next 12-24 hours. We will see.
