an extrapolation of the current heading would take it a little bit north of Brownsville.

Virtually little change in track compared to the 18z run. I have it about 3-6 hrs slower when it comes ashore near Houma.

If I don't see a N'ward turn in 24 hours, it's generator time...

You and me both txflagwaver. I am not mentally ready for another hurricane.
Me either. This brain tumor makes for lots of pain and constant loud ringing in my ears. No power, means hot conditions with no fan at night to mask the ring. No sleep. If we could just get some rain, but keep our power.
Hello everyone - want to thank you for your awesome insights.
Biggerbyte- do you have a battery powered fan? Would that help?
And I agree - RAIN with NO NAME is the best! :D

Not to mention the trof being shallower. Doesn't get picked up for sure in this run. If it is any slower that west trend would be right on the coast.
