Well, yeah, 70s are more 'typical' but you can have plenty of 80s in November and in December. I mean in 2004 when we had our White Christmas. Day before that high I believe that day was like 83 degrees. They're just not uncommon in this season.

Not sure why the tornado watch is extended out to 8 pm. I don't see much along the leading edge of the front.

The watch could be trimmed back, but enough instability remains to our W that they (HGX) may want to see how things play out. Remember they weren't exactly confident in the cap breaking or severe weather locally... ;)

The rains ahead of the front have stabilized the atmosphere. It concerns me a bit that the sun in shining in places, which could serve up additional storms with the front. However, the big squal line spoke about earlier on may not come to pass now. Porter got lots of rain today. It sure was nice to see.

Redneck, did you get much today in your part of Montgomery County?
What about you, Srain, out in NW Harris? It appears the heavier rains were east side.

I can see the sun peeking out in Stafford. Heard some thunder earlier, but no rain since I got home. Does look like we got some earlier today as the pool is filled and I see standing water in spots.

I still don't know what happened to you. I'm sorry to hear you are still healing from whatever it was/is. You know how to reach me if you need some help, or just to talk.

No squal line for us, folks. Today's rains took away some of the ingredients needed to make severe storms. The front passed with a line of rainfall that has now passed. Mid. to upper thirties for a night this week before warming again.
