HISD is closed tomorrow .... that's not a big surprise.

FBISD is releasing students and hour early today .... they will make their final decision on school closing tomorrow by 8PM tonight. IMO ...it's pretty much a given though.

Ed I still don't understand why you are so nervous. Moisture around the Houston area has really been blossoming and the main event is for midnight on. Everything looks fine to me.

Andrew, this is why he is a little nervous. Straight out of the horses mouth.

LATEST MODEL GUIDANCE SUGGESTS THAT IT WILL TAKE A LONG TIME FOR
SATURATION TO OCCUR...WITH VERY LITTLE PRECIP REACHING THE GROUND
TODAY AND ONLY LIGHT PRECIP THIS EVENING. CURRENT THINKING IS THAT
THE ACCUMULATIONS CURRENTLY FORECAST LOOK GOOD AND COULD BE A BIT
GENEROUS

Oh, yes, do I want to play in the snow tonight.

Nothing about the nam or gfs suggests consistent.

Checking in here in Greenway plazza area. near Weslayn and Westheimer. weather station showing 31 degrees. 16 dewpoint. Good amount of room for the temp to drop when the precip starts.
