They probably would wait to issue any watches till tmw if it's a 2 day advanced warning. I'm not sure.

700mb RH's are very impressive on the 18Z NAM/WRF, for what it's worth.

OMG - just saw what the HGX said about snow. I know that is not for certain, but it is certainly exciting. BTW- what does HGX mean. How confident is your source that it will snow N of I-10 and heavily?

Nobody can be certain of anything except it is very likely to snow across the entire CWA on Thurs. night and Friday. Too early to speak of accumulations except to say that there will be some.

Let's hope so! If I look at the maps, it looks like everyone will be getting some snow - and plent of it, but what do I know.
