We went from 103°F in the afternoon to 77°F as the spinout band found us. 0.73 inches of rain. Not a lot, but welcome and the most since the July 4 weekend.
It appears that Eduoard has finally broken the back of 100°F here, at least for a week.

Another predictable swing and miss from our useless local mets. Not a drop to be seen anywhere out here.

Looks like the remnant circulation of Edouard is near Giddings and bringing a few drops to Central Texas.

Just got power back from Mr. Edouard. Hallelujah. God bless generators. Neighborhood looks like a war zone with all the fallen trees. Rain fall? Very beneficial. After all said and done, received 7.26” of rain. According to radar right now, looks like many of us will be getting some beneficial moisture shortly…Thankfully back to some normalcy…

I have power now too. I feel bad that a lot of y'all didn't get any beneficial rain, but it came with a price. If you live around here, you know what it's like to not have electricity. Forget about the inconvenience of no TV, lights, etc. The heat is miserable.djmike wrote: ↑Sat Sep 05, 2026 1:55 pm Just got power back from Mr. Edouard. Hallelujah. God bless generators. GFS couple runs in a row now has shown a decent cold front around the 14th or so. Widespread rains and a pretty good cool down! Lets hope its on to something
