It's not just you. We need a rain rally cap!

If it were ANY other model, I'd start to think about the notion of possibly getting excited.

12z Euro is pretty darn encouraging, first run in a while that show any rainfall of significance, definitely a wetter pattern in the 9-10 day window on that run, and Euro is the undisputed king when it comes to handeling upper air patterns

Meh. When its 2-3 days out, I'll pay attention. September is effectively identical to August in the suck department.

Mid to upper 90’s here through next week. Probably 10 degrees cooler than you.

102°F - 103°F all through the next 7 days in CLL. Slight chance of rain Friday and Saturday. Ha!

GFS AI (aka Godot) - teasing with a FROPA and rain

No rain either.

Why are you posting a long range map that’s based off the CPC?

You’re posting literal trash to fit your pessimistic narrative.

its absolutely going to be wet down here across the fall despite what the CPC has put out, the STJ is going to be extremely vigorous across the deep south starting sometime in september and going all the way through next spring. The signal for wet weather in the fall down here is very strong in all the climatology models, and the signal gets even stronger going into winter. Its certainly not going to be dry down here, not at all

I only look at the CPC for their 6-10 and 8-14 day outlooks.
