That warm nose is shrinking of the 18z GFS in CLL.

The trend is your friend.

The forecast model trends have freezing rain heading southwards into Houston area. If the forecast models are having it similar to January 1997, that would be a major problem.

Our freezing rain is becoming sleet in the NWS forecast.
