The front is through Georgetown and Hearne now, heading toward Austin and College Station. And I'm stuffed after a great Thanksgiving meal.

I avoid the mall on Black Friday. It is a madhouse. More interested in the weather anyways.

What I'm also watching closely for is the orientation of the front as it approaches. If it's NE to SW, then a line of showers might pass quickly through with little accumulations.
But if it's more E to W, there's a chance for more training, and hopefully at least a half-inch plus.
Many parts of central Texas are still WAY behind in rainfall this year...and could use a few downpours.

No front here yet. Temp is 78. Cypress is about 10 miles further N than where I am and the front just passed with the wind shift.

The front is progressing S faster to our W. It may be a while before eastern areas see the front.
