Not our weather per se, but still part of weather lore....the 50th anniversary of the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald

DP = 19°F. Enjoying it while it lasts. 58°F and sunny forecasted. Light northerlies.

This is my perfect day. No A/C. No heat. No sprinklers. Without all the humidity - the air is crisp and super clear. We could even see some stars last night!

It would be nice if that was on the weekend. 8-)

Close to freezing already: 33-35°F in the neighborhood. Enjoy now, because 81°F hits on Wednesday.

The cold in that model goes to Europe, not here.

For that timeframe, yes. Our time would come after that. That model is showing a huge disruption to the PV.

One can only hope. In the nearer term, hoping some of these disturbances coming through in 5-6 days brings some much needed rains.

That's really early for a decoupling of the polar vortex. Will swing around this way around Thanksgiving and into December.

Lots of cool magnetic storm sky's last night all over the place. Tonight is expected to be more intense.

EPO/ WPO both really tank as we get close to thanksgiving and beyond, I think the dam bursts as we approach december, some SE ridge is present which is actually what we want to see if you want the chance for a winter storm down here later in the coming weeks

Sounds great! Open those doors to the cold, and send it straight down to our part of the state.

No. Ridge in the east and a WPO tank coupled with a EPO tank spells central fun!
