My Weather Channel app has snow in the forecast 8 days out. This is a good sign but its still 8 days out

That is serious cold. I was watch ABC13 Kevin Roth and he mentioned the arctic cold coming around MLK day and that the temps the were displaying may be too warm but they are going to be conservative until we get closer. Probably Thursday

The arctic hammer...is that in and out in one day or do you anticipate it hanging around se Texas for a few days, as in 2021?

Right now, let's go with low to mid 50s for highs with a low 40s start. This can and will change.

Its also worth noting that the GFS which was previously bone dry the last several days, has started to come around towards the euro, last 2 runs have shown at least a wintry mix in se texas fwiw
