Oz GFS has precip in Houston but appears to be all rain. Suspect it’s underdoing temps.
This would be a lot of snow if they’re too warm on forecasted temps…

CMC 00z still has a snowstorm over houston
It’s more than likely overdoing the temps. The GFS has a known bias for this.txsnowmaker wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2025 10:20 pm Oz GFS has precip in Houston but appears to be all rain. Suspect it’s underdoing temps.

GEFS should be interesting.
Ensembles are buying in. they are hedging on the amount of snow. It *could* be an interesting mid-week next week.

Give me the CMC and my 7-8 inches and I’ll give Jason an early Spring and jet off for Spring skiing in Montana.

Well it is 4:30am. The ICON took a dump on all of the fun it was showing earlier. The GFS continues to give Dallas the action.
Oh well.. Eye candy melts too

The 6z & 18z ICON only goes out to 120 hours. The 12z and 0z ICON go out to 180 hours. We’ll have to wait till around 11am for the 12z ICON.biggerbyte wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2025 4:23 am Well it is 4:30am. The ICON took a dump on all of the fun it was showing earlier.
