As I type this, the sun is peaking out. This is not good for daytime heating. I read the readings last night into today. The factors are there for severe weather, almost anywhere from a Madisonville to Freeport line and east. The lapse rates indicate that anyone under these discrete cells will get a lot of precipitation dumped on them fast. Also, the variable for inducing a spinning motion is quite high

The cloud cover has been pretty thick all day (at least here in the Sugar Land area). I'm guessing that should dampen the severe risk?
Hasn’t been any sun out the entire day over here on the SW side of the viewing area.tireman4 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 26, 2024 11:56 am As I type this, the sun is peaking out. Man, there’s some awesome videos on Facebook right now. Wish I could post them here.
Was this just a "one and done," line or will we see some refire today?
