Hurricane Beryl
For whatever reason, maybe the remaining dry air, but fortunately it can’t seem to generate much convection or a dense CDO. Hopefully this means the chances is RI are significantly lessened!

Wharton county and Brazoria county are now under an inland Hurricane warning.Cpv17 wrote: ↑It’s looking like a decent bet right now, but it could still go just east of me. Man, the western suburbs are gonna get clobbered. Being in the eye of a hurricane is on my bucket list so I might get to scratch it off.

Nice mammatus following that outer band I can see from the western burbs. Clearing out the remainder of the loose items in the back. Going to get rowdy here.

Looks like pressure is starting to fall a bit more.
Hearing more and more of the COC a little more east as its now moving more NNW. Wonder if Beryl will do like the YP, a tad further east than what the track forecasted. *Just my untrained opinion.

Angleton, which is about 20 miles from my location (Sienna) is now under a hurricane warning. Fort Bend peeps, don’t sleep on this one!!
I'm gonna pay a LOT more attention to the ICON in the future. It's had this nailed for a week

A couple of geniuses on my street have their trash on the curb for Tuesday trash day, including a bunch of loose trash bags.
I agree, but we’re not - at least not yet!
The outer band is entering Brazos Co. About an hour early, I'm going outside to finish preparing
