ICON being ICON...folks have been sleeping on in. Beryl is only going to clip the tip of the Yucatan. She's been slowing down a little.

Interesting.
Beryl vs. Shear.

The winner after a tough 10 rounds is Beryl.

TBH, Beryl could be a CAT4 again if it weren't for the Jamaican mountains.

I'll take Timmer over 57 in this round. We'll see.

Beryl appears to be reorganizing despite her doubters and haters.

I'm feeling landfall could be somewhere from Corpus to Matagorda Bay.

Hard to tell based on satellite but Grand Cayman radar might be showing the westward bend finally happening. Moisture is wrapping around the southwest edge of the eye too but still a lack of convection across the southern half of the storm and shear is still influencing the storm. Not much change in the 12z model runs so more wait and see.

We have known each other a long time ( lol).. I am getting a sinking feeling about this. Is is just gas or an ominous foreboding? Remember, I am just taking classes, I am still learning lol

This storm is wearing me out. The more north shift would still keep us in the clear?

The eye is re-emerging...so another six hours to get a better feel.

A brush past Cozumel would not be surprising.

Beryl is one of the more fascinating ATL based hurricanes in recent memory. Mets and hurricane experts will be studying her for years.
