Another 0.8 inches. Up to 4.64 inches total. The firehose is in the same place as yesterday: from Bryan to NW Harris Co.

If the HRRR verifies I’ll end up with over a foot of rain.

Lots of flooding in Beaumont overnight. Streets, underpasses and many vehicles stalled. Unfortunately, fatality crashes too. Feast or famine around here. Supposedly, there's more to come as well.

Spring Creek Near Hegar Road affecting Harris County.
For the Spring Creek...including Cypress Rosehill, Tomball, Hegar
Road, FM 2978, Hufsmith, Spring...Minor flooding is forecast.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON UNTIL FURTHER

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHEN...From this afternoon until further notice.

- Bankfull stage is 0.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 4:05 PM CST Wednesday was 214.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 215.1 feet this
evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Flood stage is 214.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
215.4 feet on 11/14/1998.

As of right now July and August look wet around here with a TC risk.
If it rained every day in Summer I would be more tolerant of Summer.
