Just got home, can confirm there was a lot of light rain that wasn't showing on the composite radar. How much longer is the Houston radar down, 1 week or 2?

The plan was two weeks, so about 10 more days if they don't run into issues.

I kinda am tbh. This is the pattern we’re in where things tend to blow up east of us. Plus, they were in a bad drought there. So it makes sense for them to be really wet now. The climate models have also been showing this for quite awhile now and most winter precipitation forecasts have the SE getting hammered with rain.

We're gonna stay green all winter aren't we? No cold to be seen.

I just want rain. Cold and wintry weather would just be the icing on top for me.

Pretty much everyone is pointing to the last 7-10 days of December and mid January onward as times when we have high probabilities of cold.

Its going to take time but models are showing a stretching of the PV, especially with what guidance is showing the last week of december into early january, this mild pattern will come to an end

I must say, as of right now, it’s not looking very encouraging for winter weather in the near future. ☹️☹️

Emptied 0.25" from yesterday's rain.

That was a incredible game by 'Bama.

This weather is fine with me. Looking forward to seeing the sun again this week. :)

After looking at tonights trends, its pretty likely se texas is going to miss out on beneficial rains from the bowling ball upper low, this el nino has been underwhelming for sure, very disappointing that we can never get a good rain event for this part of the state

Mild, sunny weather this week with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. The next big FROPA and chance of rain is around Dec. 10, followed by below normal temps per EURO and GFS. CMC brings the big FROPA in later but colder.

No complaints.

Don't expect any serious forecasts about potential wintry mischief until near the Christmas holidays...and it's still rare. Although, something in the 2004 range would be nice!

Texas and Bama had the #3 and #2 SOS per Sagarin. FSU had the #62 SOS.

Can't wait for the 12 team playoffs next year! More games in November will matter.
