Storms are moving faster though than what models show. NAM 3km and HRRR both were showing this morning storms reaching southern San Jacinto County around 1 pm. However, currently, they are already almost in northern Liberty County. These storms may reach the coast by 4 pm at this rate.

You can see the outflow/front easily in TIAH radar. It's coming through Montgomery County now, stretching from Conroe to Magnolia.

Yep, as usual. Although it could be a close call for both of us.

Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service Houston/Galveston TX
1233 PM CDT Mon Apr 25 2022

.AVIATION...

Cold front is making steady southward progress and is approaching the
Interstate 10 corridor. SHRA/TSRA along and behind the front as well
as some SHRA ahead of the front can be expected. With the stronger
storms, wind gusts of 15 to 25 knots are possible along with reduced
visibilities, lower ceilings and brief heavy rainfall. MVFR and possible
IFR ceilings along with lingering SHRA and possible TSRA are anticipated
after the front moves through with N to NE winds around 10 knots. Improving
conditions are not expected to begin until tomorrow when drier air
begins to filter into the area from the N and NE. 42

The SJT divergence is driving down south the dry air at all levels. I'd bet on showers down to League City by the arrival of darkness this evening. Fingers crossed.

Raining here finally. So thankful! If you believe the Euro, it shows a really good chance of storms coming up next Monday. Of course, that is a whole week away. However, given that we are finally getting storms again now, I do think we are entering a more active pattern.
