Man talk about some consistency in the models, well most of them at least

He showed this map but then just practically glossed over it and said "it's not out of the question that we could see some glazing in spots." Really downplayed the whole event.

If that map verified, that would be pretty bad news in those shaded areas. Those are some hefty accumulations in places. 1/2 - 3/4" of ice on those pine trees would be a lot more trouble than 'some glazing in spots'...

1/2 inch of ice around CLL...I did recommend folks bring their iceskates on Thursday!

Its moving east.

My TWC app has me down for a 40% chance of light freezing rain Thursday night/Friday morning with a low of 25°F.

The trends have been interesting today, but i would like to see the 0Z runs and 12Z runs tomorrow morning,before completely buying it.As those runs should have sampled storm data.

...and overperforming is the M.O. for shallow arctic air this time of year.
