It's all about perception.
I was just thinking of how many people will look back at 2010 as a quiet season even though we've had 15 named storms. It's all in where they hit or don't hit. You get an "A" storm that tears up your town and it was a bad season even if there isn't anything else. I guess that's why I find this site so interesting. Over here, we get to look at the big picture and see the storms for their beauty and not just their destructiveness.
