Notice how June only has two storms forming. No major hurricanes. Than everything goes into overdrive starting in July. There are no breaks from hurricanes in the 2005 from July to November. Even the most active hurricane seasons start quiet and unremarkable. Remember 2004? 2005 type seasons are very rare. The closest I can think of are 1887, 1916 (strong La Nina at the time), and 1933.
