We're going to have a hell of an icing event in Missouri City at this rate. Everything is covered in water/ice outside, even the roads (water, not ice). It's full-on raining now, not drizzling. HOW CAN THIS NOT BE AT LEAST SLEET?

We wanted snow, not ice.

Ice on road factor in fatal accident

February 03, 2011 10:00 PM

Icy conditions were a factor in a fatal accident Thursday night in Port Arthur.

The accident happened about 8pm at Twin City Highway and Highway 136.

Investigators say several vehicles collided due to ice on the road.

A 43-year-old woman from Bridge City died in the wreck.

The victim's name has not yet been released.
I heard about that....so sad. My prayers and thoughts go out to this family.

We may have a serious ice issue in the heart of Houston tomorrow morning if this keeps up.

drizzle starting to freeze now after the humidity and dew point sky rocketed, hopefully we can get some snow through the night instead of this drizzle

Nice glaze of ice developing now on the trucks from heavy freezing drizzle. That can't be a good sign...
