btw, jabcwb2, the stuff I'm seeing east of Hooks is barely visible, using the light in the backyard but its there none the less

I don't have much faith in those 'heavier bands.' One just passed directly over the station and we got like tiny grains of snow that you could barely see. <taps foot>

Some sort of liquid is hitting me in the face in Willis. I didn't see snowflakes!!!!

Need reports from NW Brazoria, Wharton, Matagorda and Ft Bend Counties. According to radar there should be frozen precip

NWSFO EWX just put us (Austin) under a Winter Storm Warning for freezing drizzle/rain/snow. Increased accumulations a bit as well.

Ok guys this event has not been going as planned so who knows what could happen? heck if we got that precipitation that is over waco right now we would end up with inches of snow
