Two of our meteorologists are in Hawaii now. They texted us to let us know they're aware of the potential tsunami. Hard to predict how high the waves will be. Could be only a few feet high.

Why a 6 or 8 foot surge expected versus a 30 foot surge in 1960.
Magnitude for one and I heard one geologist say that it may have also have something to do with how the plates came together this time.
