Folks in S Montgomery NW/N Harris County may need to keep an eye out. That cell looks suspect.

Thank you, Mr. T. And those temperatures are still forecast to drop around another good twenty degrees by the time that morning arrives. :P

Area of some pea to possibly nickel sized hail getting ready to move across I-45 just south of Loop 336 and north of SH 242.

About an hour (unless some 'homegrown' storms develop ahead of the line.)

The TVS/Meso signatures on radar look to just be indicating some low level convergence along the leading wind shift line associated with the storms and would only be an indication of some gusty surface winds as the leading edge of the storm passes by...however a brief funnel is still possible, especially with any of the stronger storms.

It looks like hail and gusty winds will be the main threats with the storms this evening.

And it appears some home-grown are firing up ahead of the main line.
At least we'll get some thunderstorm excitement with this (Winter Event). :)

It is 20 degrees colder in Brenham right now (48) compared to IAH (68).

So, this is all we get this month? One quick little day near 70? :(
