It is changing over to snow here finally. Still some sleet in there but it seems like it's finally trying to just snow. Power just flickered too...

My yard is barley covered in sleet in only certain places..I think it's been a major let down around this way but it was also expected to be not much down here anyway

Yeah as far south as you are it takes a lot to get snow.

Don’t give up yet though. You might have about an hour of snow before the system moves out.

Thought rolling blackouts were supposed to be an hour max. Mine has been out for about 70 minutes.

If thats's the backend already moving past San Antonio along I-10, I'm going to bed. Was hoping this system wouldn't be so progressive. At least we got some snow out of it.

Yeah I don’t think it’s going to amount to much of anything for most of us. Warm nose killed it.

I did one last check and wow, it's snow, sleet, and some more freezing rain again, driving bullets into the sleet/snow pile. I can't believe it. Could have had 6"+ easily but instead I got ice balls.

Y'all know when you go to the fridge and fill up the cup with the crushed ice option? That's what outside is like right now in the Nassau Bay area.

Heavy sleet in the Heights now. Can’t believe it’s 20 degrees and still just sleet. Beginning to lose hope for seeing any snow. Only about 2 hours left the way radar looks, and there are a few dry slots in there too.

Power went out around midnight, has not come on yet, 59° in the house and 17° outside. I'm in Cypress at Barker Cypress and FM 529. Thin layer of snow and sleet in yard, on truck.

Looks like pretty much snow west of town is moving in. Also for those disappointed the ECMWF shows a possible second round later this week.

Finally getting a transition to more snow than sleet here in Katy.

Also have been without power now for 2 hours. Went out right at 2:15am. Temp inside is 60° and outside temp is 15°.
