Now the models are waffling on rain for next week. All I can say is, we need bitter cold and frozen precip and we need it now. I'm just tired of model waffling. The bitter cold air of Siberia needs to cross the pole and head south to Houston.

Anyone else find it interesting that Tropikal stopped posting a week or two ago, and then suddenly there is someone who acts just like him but takes a 180 on stances regarding cold weather? LOL

Negativity is what killed snow for Houston this last time. When it comes to cold in Houston we need collective positivity. Why is negativity toward cold and snow so prevalent among certain people?

I want to make a deal. Let's ban negativity about snow and cold from the board. If we can do that, mother nature will respond. The Earth is a living being and responds to emotions like negativity and positivity.

IAH recorded several hours of wind gusts above 30mph. Not too bad.

Im near friendswood. my highest gust was 24.2 mph. im not saying it wasnt windy but i dont think the wind advisory was warranted. What criteria does NWS Houston use for wind advisories?
