Starting to get in range of the TX-tech WRF and some of the other good mesoscale models. Real key for heavy rain will be where the warm front sets up Saturday night.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! It’s been a crazy year and tough for many people. Nows the time to be thankful for what we have and spend time with our families!

Bring on the rain, we need it bad! Enjoy everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! Stay smart. Stay safe. Like a Cat 4-5 hurricane the virus cares not of your or politicians' opinions.

Be with family when, where, and how you can - even if it's Zoom.

I'd still believe in it when I see it.

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving! May this winter be overall hot and toasty, just like the turkey feast fresh from the oven!

Beginning to look like the biggest flood threat could be east of Houston now towards Beaumont. Thoughts?

Happy Thanksgiving! At least the saturation points are high, so we can take some rain before issues may occur late Saturday

We got a big family gathering in Longview tomorrow and in Montgomery on Friday. Headed to CS on Saturday for A&M-LSU game.

I do hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving though. Sorry you are quarantined.

Good luck to your Ags! I'm a big Bama fan, got the Iron bowl tomorrow. Always a good game.

Seasonal weather on tap with much needed rain followed by the coldest air so far of the season. I'm liking it.

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We missed our family but enjoyed the nice day the best we could.

I am thankful to all who are trying to abide by the guidelines.

So I was under the impression that the south part of the area would be getting more rain, but so far I feel like Lucy pulled the ball away. Are we expecting more to head south?

Nothing this morning, then a few heavy downpours around lunchtime. One had a funnel in it near my house.
