A broken line just blew through here. Couple drops of sprinkle and much cooler. Not expecting much in way of beneficial rain.

Guys, not even the midweek system is looking good for us. Most of the rain will probably be north and east of us.

I’m having a hard time understanding how these storms developed today. There’s not even that much humidity or heat around to get anything cranking.

...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...
At 844 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Wallis, or 8 miles south of Sealy, moving east at 50 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Sugar Land, western Missouri City, Rosenberg, Stafford, Richmond,
Town West, Pecan Grove, Eldridge / West Oaks, First Colony, Mission
Bend, Meadows Place, Wallis, Fulshear, Pleak, Simonton, Orchard,
Thompsons, New Territory, Cinco Ranch and Weston Lakes.
